எங்களை எழுப்புவதாக சொல்லிவிட்டு, அவ்வண்ணம் செய்யாது தூங்குதல் முறையோ?

ஆனந்தபைரவி ராகம், மிச்சராபு தாளம்

உங்கள் புழைக்கடைத் தோட்டத்து வாவியுள்
செங்கழுநீர் வாய்நெகிழ்ந்து ஆம்பல்வாய் கூம்பின காண்;
செங்கல் பொடிக்கூறை வெண்பல் தவத்தவர்,
தங்கள் திருக்கோயில் சங்கிடுவான் போகின்றார்;
எங்களை முன்னம் எழுப்புவான் வாய்பேசும்
நங்காய்! எழுந்திராய், நாணாதாய்! நாவுடையாய்!
சங்கொடு சக்கரம் ஏந்தும் தடக்கையன்
பங்கயக் கண்ணானைப் பாடேலோ ரெம்பாவாய்.

//உங்கள் வீட்டு பின்புறக்குளத்தில் செந்தாமரை மலர்கள் மலர்ந்து விட்டன
அல்லி மலர்களின் வாய்கள் மூடிக்கொண்டு விட்டன
காவி ஆடை அணிந்த வெண்மை பற்களுடைய துறவிகள்
தங்கள் கோயில்களுக்கு சங்கூதப் போகிறார்கள்
எங்களை முன்னதாக ஏழுப்புவதாக வீண் பெருமை பேசும் பெண்ணே
வெட்கமில்லாதவளே, பேச்சு மட்டும் இனிமையாக பேசுபவளே !
சங்கு சக்கரம் தரித்த விசாலமான கையையுடைய
கமலக்கண்ணனை பாட வேண்டும் எழுந்திரு//

The white lily blossoms of the night have closed
The red lotus blossoms in the garden pond have opened
The sacred temple ascetic with white teeth and russet cloth
has gone to blow the temple conch.
Wake up, shameless girl with brazen tongue
you spoke of walking us early!
come sing the praise of kishna who bears the discus
and conch on lofty hands.
