This temple is 1500 year old temple. Samprokshanam happened 150 years back. Few people in the age group fof 30 - 34 has taken this initiative. We have completed 30% of work. We need all your support . Square feet costs 2500 Rupees. Appeal all like minded people to sponsor for atleast one squarefeet. I am one of the founder trustee of this temple. Please help us....

Renovation of Deiva Nayagan Perumal Temple at Thiru Vahindrapuram

Five kilometres west of Cuddalore, off the Panruti highway, is the Deiva Nayagan Perumal Temple at Thiru Vahindrapuram.

This historic temple is now all set to get a much needed facelift. Plans are afoot for a complete renovation that includes construction of mandapams, laying of new granite flooring and gold plating of the dwajasthambam among others.  Dear All,

Namsakarams. We are writing on behalf of Sri Kothanda Rama Swami Temple at Pon Vilaintha Kalathur near Chengalpet,Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The Temple Dwajasthambam is badly damaged and it needs to be replaced immediately. The total extimated cost for replacing it and Sampokshana is Rs. 10 Lakhs. We are in the process of colleting money for it. We have started the work by January 2011, but due to insufficent funds the wrok is in very slow process. We are unable to proceed fast due to lack of funds. 

So Once again requesting all to  donate generously and help us to finish this work at the earliest. A request from the temple is also attached herewith for your reference.
