Sri Rama mandira

Place: Halasuru, Sathanuru, Kanakapura, Karnataka
Temple: Sri Rama mandira
Vishesha: The deities in the temple are Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Seeta maathe, Bharatha and Shatrugna. It's rare to see the deities Bharatha and shatrugna (can be seen behind the deities of Lord Sri Rama in the picture) worshiped at the same temple. The deity of Lord Sri Rama and other deities are extremely beautiful.

The other specialty of this temple is that the navagraha deities are also worshiped along with their consorts. Navagrahas are not in the picture.

  1. The deities are really very beautiful, but it is regrettable that there is no vastra on the deities even though so much decoration has been done at the background. Also, it will be nice if you can provide route directions to reach this place.

    1. In this case Rama's majesty is magnified even without extra 'Vastra'.
I am novice wrt shastras in this regard, but its my personal opinion.
