திருப்பாவை - 30

இந்த முப்பது பாடல்களையும் பாடுவோர் அடையும் பேரின்பம்

சுருட்டி ராகம், ஆதி தாளம்

வங்கக் கடல்கடைந்த மாதவனைக் கேசவனைத்
திங்கள் திருமுகத்துச் சேயிழையார் சென்றிறைஞ்சி
அங்கப் பறைகொண்ட ஆற்றை, அணி புதுவைப்
பைங்கமலத் தண்தெரியல் பட்டர்பிரான் கோதை சொன்ன
சங்கத் தமிழ்மாலை முப்பதும் தப்பாமே
இங்கிப் பரிசுரைப்பார், ஈரிரண்டு மால்வரைத்தோள்
செங்கண் திருமுகத்துச் செல்வத் திருமாலால்
எங்கும் திருவருள்பெற் றின்புறுவ ரெம்பாவாய்.

//திருப்பாற்கடலைக் கடைந்த மாதவனான கேசவனை
சந்திரன் போல் முகமுடைய பெண்கள் சென்று யாசித்து
விரும்பியதைப் பெற்ற வரலாற்றை(பாவை நோன்பு),
அழகிய ஸ்ரீவில்லிபுத்தூரில் தோன்றிய தாமரை மாலை
அணிந்த பெரியாழ்வாரின் மகள் ஆண்டாளால் அருளிச் செய்த
திருப்பாவை முப்பது பாடல்களையும் தவறாமல் பாடுபவர்கள்
நான்கு தோள்களையும், செங்கண்களையும் பெற்ற திருமால்
திருவருள் பெற்று எப்பொழுதும் பேரின்பத்துடன் வாழ்வார்கள்.//

Thiruppavai - 30

Raga: Surati, Adi

Lord Madhava who churned the sea ; the young charming damsels
with exquisite faces like moon got their boons praising the lord.
Srivilliputtur fame Andal ( Goda ), the foster daughter of Periyazhvar adorned with
lotus garlands has composed the Thiruppavai.
Lord Thirumal with the divine form with four shoulders and reddish hue eyes shall
grace to whoever recites these hymn faithfully.
