  1. My father's grandfather, late P T Srinivasaiyangar was born here. He was the author many books on Indian history till his demise in 1931. When I visited this divyaksethram 4 years back, to see his village Pullambuthangudi, and went to the Kovil instead, it was closed being past mid-day.

    This temple is near kumbakonam and very near to swamimalai temple. Town buses are available from kumbakonam to aadhanoor and pullapudhamgudi. you can reach kumbakonam busstand and ask for the buses to aadhanoor. they will guide you. have a nice dharsan.
