நோன்பு செய்ய அருளிய பொருள்களைப் பெற்றவுடன் உன்னிடமிருந்து பெறவேண்டியது என்ன?
பூர்விகல்யாணி ராகம், ஆதி தாளம்
கூடாரை வெல்லுஞ்சீர்க் கோவிந்தா! உன்தன்னை
பாடிப் பறைகொண்டு யாம்பெறும் சம்மானம்;
நாடு புகழும் பரிசினால் நன்றாக,
சூடகமே தோள்வளையே தோடே செவிப்பூவே
பாடகமே யென்றனைய பல்கலனும் யாம் அணிவோம்;
ஆடை உடுப்போம்; அதன்பின்னே பாற்சோறு(*)
மூடநெய் பெய்து முழங்கை வழிவார
கூடியிருந்து குளிர்ந்தேலோ ரெம்பாவாய்.
//பகைவர்களை வெல்லும் வழக்கமுள்ள கோவிந்தா உன்னைப்
பாடிப் பயனைடந்து நாங்கள் பெறும் பரிசுகள் யாதெனில்
அனைவரும் புகழத்தக்க கைவளை; தோள்வளை(வங்கி)
தோடு, மாட்டல், காலணி என்று பலவகை ஆபரணங்கள், ஆடைகள்
நாங்கள் அணிவோம். அதன் பின்னே
முழங்கை வரை வழிந்தோடும் நெய்யுடை பால் அன்னத்தை
எல்லோருமாகக் கூடி உண்டு உள்ளம் குளிர இருப்போம்.

Jewels of world-fame-sudakam-bangles
Sevippu ear-tops, patakam-anklets and many other that we delight in wearing;
clothes and finery then sweet milk-food served with ghee that flows down
the elbow: together we shall sit and enjoy these in peace.
[Picture shows - The band of singers has grown and more people are attracted to the singing and losing their inhibitions, others join in chorus with their paraphernalia. They stage beautiful shows and win people hearts. Some bring them sweet food, others give them presents of jewels and cloth. There is joy in sharing, and the joy is shared by all. Andal gives the credit for all this to Krishna]

நாறு நறும் பொழில் மாவிருஞ்சோலை நம்பிக்கு நான்
நூறு தடாவில் வெண்ணெய் வாய்நேர்ந்து பராவி வைத்தேன்;
நூறு தடா நிறைந்த அக்கார அடிசில் சொன்னேன்
எறுதிருவுடையான் இன்று இவை கொள்ளுங்கொலோ ?
என்று பாடினாள். இதை அறிந்த ஸ்ரீ இராமனுஜர், ஆண்டாளின் விருப்பம் போல் திருமாலிருஞ்சோலை அழகருக்கு நூறு தாடா அக்கார அடிசலும், வெண்ணையும் சமர்பித்தார். பின்பு ஸ்ரீ வில்லிபுத்தூர் சென்று ஆண்டாளை அடி பணிந்து நின்றார். தான் பாடியதை செயல் படுத்திய இராமனுஜரின் செயலுக்கு உகந்து “வாரும் என் அண்ணலே” என்றார். இராமனுஜர் பல நூற்றாண்டு இளையவர் என்றாலும் அவர் ஆண்டாளுக்கு அண்ணனார்.
In Nachiar Thirumozhi (9.6) Andal sings :
To the Lord of Malirunsolai surrounded by fragrant groves
I give my word to offer a hundred pots of butter today
and a hundred pots of sweet morsel filled to the brim
Will the lord of growing affluence deign to accept them ?
In the 9th decad of Nachiar Thirumozhi, Andal wishes to offer 100 pails of butter and 100 pails of akkara adisil(rice cooked with milk and jaggery). This wish remained in words during the life of Andal and it was Sri Ramanuja who fulfuilled it physically. Andal showed her gratitude to Ramanuja by revering him as her Annan ( elder brother). Henceforth he came to be addressed as the elder brother of Andal though, actually he was centuries younger to her.
இதனால் இன்றும் மார்கழி 27ஆம் நாள் ( “கூடாரை வெல்லுஞ்சீர்க் கோவிந்தா” என்ற பாசுரம்) அக்கார அடிசல் செய்வது வழக்கமாக உள்ளது.
