மாயனை மன்னு வடமதுரை மைந்தனை,
தூய பெருநீர் யமுனைத் துறைவனை,
ஆயர் குலத்தினில் தோன்றும் அணிவிளக்கை,
தாயைக் குடல்விளக்கம் செய்த தாமோதரனை,
தூயோம்ஆய் வந்துநாம் தூமலர் தூவித்தொழுது
வாயினால் பாடி மனத்தினால் சிந்திக்கப்
போய பிழையும் புகுதருவான் நின்றனவும்
தீயினில் தூசுஆகும் செப்பேலோ ரெம்பாவாய்.

மாயச் செயலுடைய கண்ணன், வடமதுரையில் பிறந்த திருக்குமாரனை
தூய யமுனை நதிக் கரையில் வசிப்பவனை
இடையர் குலத்தில் விளக்கை போல் அவதரித்து
யசோதைக்கு பெருமை தேடிக் கொடுத்த தாமோதரனை
பரிசுத்ததுடன் அணுகி, மலர்களைத் தூவி வணங்கி
வாயாரப் பாடி, நெஞ்சார தியானிப்போம்
முன்பு செய்த பாவங்களும், பின் வரும் பாவங்களும் அவன் அருளால்
நெருப்பில் விழுந்த பஞ்சாக உருத் தெரியாமல் அழிந்து போகும்
அகவே அவன் நாமங்களைச் சொல்!\\
